A unique and beautifully finished Beautility drinks cabinet, guaranteed to make a statement.  This iconic cabinet is perfect for a household that enjoys throwing glamorous parties. Manufactured in the 1960s by renowned British furniture makers Beautility, this Art Deco-style cabinet has been stripped back, cleaned and refinished in a modern Art Deco style.

The cabinet top and cupboard fronts have been fully restored and oiled, highlighting the gorgeous walnut wood grain. The exterior has been hand-painted with a jewel-like teal-blue colour and decoupaged with a beautiful champagne gold Art Deco-inspired wallpaper. These areas have been finished in a satin varnish for added durability and protection. 

The interior of the cabinet has been painted with a beautiful shade of plum. The middle drop-down door reveals a lovely display area, ideal for serving drinks and cocktails. It retains all the original features with the mirrored back, small glass shelf and wonderful gold Art Deco stencilling along the bottom with gold striped Beautility design and logo. Inside the bar section, the original light fitting remains, which has been upgraded to an energy-efficient LED bulb and modern standard wiring and plug. The opening of the drop-down door triggers this internal light to come on. There are two cupboards on either side of the mini bar, which offer plenty of storage for your glassware. Each cupboard contains a shelf in the middle which has been covered in the same design wallpaper.

The handles have been cleaned, restored and touched up with gold. The two top drawers and bottom drawers have been lined inside with the same champagne wallpaper used on the external of the cabinet and one of the top drawers has a cutlery divider. The legs have been replaced with typical Mid-century style black tapered legs.

Each piece comes with its own touch-up kit and instructions on how to care for your furniture.

The item in this photo has sold and is an example of how your finished piece would look but every one of my designs is entirely unique and won't be replicated again so your piece is a true one-of-a-kind. Customers are very welcome to collect items in person from BN17 - Littlehampton, West Sussex. I also offer free delivery within 20 miles of this postcode. 

I offer free postage for items being delivered to the mainland UK. For the Highlands, Islands and Ireland please contact me before placing your order for an accurate delivery quote.  Your item will be sent by our trusted and reliable courier service. Once the courier has collected your piece of furniture from me, he will contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for delivery. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery of your piece of furniture.

All my work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good quality materials and furniture paints. I source quality pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways.

As with all pre-loved furniture, they may show evidence of their past life with the occasional dent or imperfection. Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but we believe small marks tell the story of the piece's history and add to its charm. As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which I hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece.
