About the Piece:

This mid-century coffee table was manufactured by Nathan Furniture and has a circle top with four solid teak sabre-style legs. The top features marquetry and a wonderful engraved cog wheel-style design. The lower tier shelf sits between the legs.

The wooden top has been sanded and finished with Littlefair's Dark Walnut wood stain. The body of the coffee table has been painted in Frenchic Loof to give it a modern look, whilst retaining some of its vintage flair.

It is a nicely designed piece of vintage furniture and would fit seamlessly into a modern or retro-styled home.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. "I am very pleased with the look and quality of the sideboard and enclose a photo of it in-situ in our hallway. It fits perfectly. Thank you for the extreme thoroughness of the packing (it must have taken ages, as it took me a long time to unpack) and it arrived intact. Just one little blip, the tape caught a tiny bit of paint on the bottom edge which came away, but I have been able to touch this in, so no problem with the overall look.
I also added some sensor lights inside to help identify the contents as the interior was dark. They work a treat".
