The beautiful walnut on the top of the dressing table has been carefully sanded and oiled to bring out the grain.

The body and sleek cabriole legs have been hand-painted using Annabelle Duke Mineral Paint in the shade Emerald City. AD describes this shade as "A deep vibrant green synonymous with the feathers of a male peacock". The body and legs have been finished with a coat of wax to enrich the paint colour and give the green a slightly deeper contrast and a soft lustrous finish.

The drawer fronts have been covered in a regal yellow paper, which features a tropical bird and foliage design in charcoal grey. The drawer edges have been painted in a beautiful deep yellow with mustard/golden honey tones. The drawer fronts have been protected with a matt varnish for a contemporary feel. The original brass ornate drawer handles have been cleaned and buffed to their original glorious shine.

With one large central drawer and two smaller drawers in a serpentine shape on each side, this dressing table has excellent storage and looks great from all angles. The combination of the gorgeous walnut top, deep green paint colour and regal yellow drawer fronts will add a luxurious feel to the room.

Each piece comes with its own touch-up kit and instructions on how to care for your furniture.

Customers are very welcome to collect items in person from BN17 - Littlehampton, West Sussex. I also offer free delivery within 20 miles of this postcode.

I offer free postage for items being delivered to the mainland UK. For the Highlands, Islands and Ireland please contact me before placing your order for an accurate delivery quote. Although the listing does state that the shipping service is Collect+, this is incorrect as Etsy no longer gives "courier" as a postage option. Your item will be sent by our trusted and reliable courier service. Once the courier has collected your piece of furniture from me, he will contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for delivery. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery of your piece of furniture.

All my work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good quality materials and furniture paints. I source quality pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways.

As with all pre-loved furniture, they may show evidence of their past life with the occasional dent or imperfection. Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but we believe small marks tell the story of the piece's history and add to its charm. As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which I hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece. Please also note that due to lighting, colours may vary slightly from those in the photos. Please kindly keep this in mind during your purchase.

This is the second time we've bought off Upcite and will always return. This time around, we bought a Victorian Mahogany Chest Of Drawers (£429 including P&P) from Timeless Furniture LTD UK. We contacted Timeless Furniture (Wrexham) through the messages section and they (Dave) were super helpful in confirming P&P will be covered their end but also went out of their way to coat the chest of drawers with another round of woodworm treatment, which was much appreciated. The drawers had been treated before but Dave offered to do it again to allay our concerns. So, once they confirmed this we punched it. The drawers then arrived via courier about a week later and packed very well, arriving in one piece and no damage. Highly recommend Upcite and Timeless Furniture LTD UK. Pete

Nest of tables

The nest of tables are very tastefully done, they are the final piece of furniture in our living room and we're very happy with them. Comms with J&M were great and the tables were packaged very well so arrived in perfect condition. We will definitely buy from UpCite and J&M again when we next need a beautiful piece of furniture. Happy with my cabinet

An absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind vintage cabinet, lovingly restored by Julie and Mark, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail really shine through. The delivery process, unfortunately, didn’t go to plan, with damage caused by the courier, but both Cole at Upcite and Julie and Mark were incredibly supportive throughout. They pushed to have the piece properly repaired and kept me updated the whole way. Thanks to their persistence and care, the cabinet looks just as gorgeous in my home as I’d hoped.
