These pieces were thoroughly cleaned and sanded before applying Zinsser water based primer, Buntys Mineral paint in Horatio, which is like a french blue, and finished with clear, sepia and gold waxes. They each have one drawer and a slide out tray.
They are in excellent, fully working condition and without damage.
Please note, this set is from a smoke free environment; they are clean and fresh and ready for use.

NOTE: most of my items are freshly painted/sealed and, although they are dry to the touch, they require a curing time of 30 days from last application. A care sheet will be provided to the purchaser.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
