The beautiful walnut on the top of the dressing table has been carefully sanded and oiled to bring out the grain.

The body and sleek cabriole legs of the dressing table/vanity have been hand-painted using a deep vibrant green, synonymous with the feathers of a male peacock. The body and legs have been finished with two coats of varnish to protect the finish and make it more durable. The same process has been used for the legs and body of the stool.

The drawer fronts have been covered in regal yellow paper, which features a colourful tropical bird and foliage design. The drawer edges have been painted with a beautiful deep yellow with mustard/golden honey tones.  The drawer fronts have been protected with varnish. Gold drawer handles have been added to complement the design of the piece.

With one large central drawer and two smaller drawers in a serpentine shape on each side, this dressing table has excellent storage and looks great from all angles. The combination of the gorgeous walnut top, deep green paint colour and regal yellow drawer fronts will add a luxurious feel to the room.

The stool seat has been reupholstered using yellow velvet fabric to compliment the dressing table.

Each piece comes with its own touch-up kit and instructions on how to care for your furniture.

Your item will be sent by our trusted and reliable courier service. Once the courier has collected your piece of furniture from me, he will contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for delivery. All my work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good quality materials and furniture paints. I source quality pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways.

As with all pre-loved furniture, they may show evidence of their past life with the occasional dent or imperfection. Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but we believe small marks tell the story of the piece's history and add to its charm. As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which I hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece.
