A stunning Queen Anne style walnut bureau bookcase, combining elegant display space with practical storage in one beautifully proportioned piece. This is a particularly attractive example, with lovely warm walnut tones and eye-catching grain throughout.

The upper section features glazed double doors opening to reveal three fixed internal shelves, ideal for displaying books, china, or decorative items while keeping them protected. Comes complete with key.

Below sits a fall-front bureau section which opens to reveal a fitted interior, perfect for writing, organising paperwork, or storing stationery. Beneath the bureau are two waterfall-shaped drawers, both fitted with decorative metal drop handles, providing further generous storage.

The piece stands on elegant turned legs joined by stretchers, giving it a refined yet sturdy stance typical of Queen Anne inspired furniture.

Overall, the bureau bookcase is in very good condition for its age, showing some minor superficial marks consistent with use over time. There is some minor veneer loss in places and a small piece of trim missing to the upper right-hand corner of the front elevation, all visible in the photographs and purely cosmetic.

This bureau bookcase splits in two for ease of transport and movement.
