Originally a wall mounted pine corner unit, I have transformed this piece by adding four new black tapered legs to elevate the corner cabinet into a modern and sleek standalone drinks cabinet. With a stylish glass door and three shelves (1 removable), this cabinet offers ample space for storing your favourite drinks and accessories. I have added 3 internal battery operated lights with sensing functions and 3 different light colours (blue, amber & white) to display your cabinet’s contents at night.
Whilst the cabinet is made from a good quality wood and is sturdy and durable, as it was originally wall mounted I would recommend attaching a bracket at the back of the unit so it can be attached to the wall.
I have refinished the cabinet using high quality mineral paints in black for the outside of the cabinet with silver foil applied to the carved detail to the front and then sanded back slightly to give it more of an aged appearance. A contrasting grey-white has been painted on the inside with the addition of some floral transfers to the inside back of the cabinet, giving a suggestion as to the botanical gins which may fill it!

Custom chest of drawers from Wendy

We love the piece Wendy has created for us. We went to her house to collect it on Sunday morning. She has done a great job on it and it works perfectly in the space for which it was intended. I've sent you a text message with the photo.
