This Reproduction Georgian style mahogany bureau/writing desk is handcrafted with traditional techniques, including dovetail joints, for a solid and durable piece of furniture. With five storage drawers adorned with solid brass handles and additional compartments inside for all your stationary and paperwork, this desk is both functional and stylish. The pull down desk area, complete with pullout supporting arms, can be used for writing or as a workspace for your laptop. Hand painted in bold Annie Sloan Athenian Black and sealed with satin varnish, this desk exudes a daring and adventurous aesthetic. Measuring at the widest points ie the base H88 X W80 X D44cm, with an internal depth of approximately 20.5cm, and a work space of 50cm when open on supporting arms, this desk is sure to inspire and motivate as you take on any challenge.

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
