The perfect addition to the reading area of any GrishaVerse fan. 
Multimedia end table inspired by The Darkling from Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo. 
The bulk of the piece is a blend of 4 greys from Dixie Belle and Paint Couture. 
The thorn wood design on the 4 legs is all hand sculpted with air dry clay and was then dry brushed using a light grey mixed with a subtle silver to highlight the details
I had my own vision for the volcra and used Redesign with Prima moulds to create the skulls and wings using resin. 
I hand painted the Darklings shield (the sun in eclipse) on the inside of the table using 3 metallic paints and some gold wax  and black glitter glass
I then used over 20kg of clear resin to fill the table to give it a beautiful glass like finish. 
The map of Ravka is obviously taken from the wonderful illustrations in the books by and was hand painted using Dixie Belle and Paint Couture paint
Gold leaf has been used for one of the Darklings most famous lines “Fine, make me your villain” 
I finished the whole piece off with subtle highlights of gold wax.
