This Stag Minstrel 5 drawer Dressing table is part of the Stag furniture range which has a great reputation for its solid build quality and in the Minstrel range it’s elegant lines. This dressing table consists of five tail jointed drawers. The middle one being the largest.
The whole piece has been painted in Brook from the Fusion Mineral Paint range. Beautiful Blossom Flight transfers from the Re-Design with Prima range adorns the drawer fronts to give an elegant finish to the dressing table. All the legs have been dipped in a gorgeous silver pigment paint which also flows around the detailing of the table, frames each of the three mirrors and the stool. Layers of varnish have been applied to add a beautiful sheen and additional protection to the piece.
The chair has been finished to compliment the rest of the dressing table with an elegant co-ordinating silver fabric used to reupholster the seat.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
