This is a beautiful hand painted vintage two drawer dressing table in a lovely soft shade of green "All Green" with gold accents. The top drawer has a lovely curved front. Both drawers are of a good size, allowing plenty of space for all the paraphernalia us ladies have, and have been lined with glamourous vintage style wallpaper. The top has been stripped back and stained using a rich Walnut gel stain, and then waxed. Handmade mouldings have been added to the top drawer, painted in the same shade of green then a given a light application of gold gilding wax. Additional smaller handmade mouldings have been added the the front between the drawers for some added interest. Mouldings have also been added to the mirror and painted in autumnal colours to tie in with the beautiful transfer which has been applied on the bottom drawer. Both drawers open and close smoothly and have been lined with pretty paper. The original handles have been cleaned up and repainted. The mirror can be angled to suit, and can be removed for transportation. All my items have been cleaned and prepped prior to painting. The are pre-loved so may show some signs of wear. All is well with the cabinet and looks great. It's in storage for a while, the room is not ready as the house is under renovation but will be perfect and I think will be much-loved. Bringing a house and furniture to life is a rewarding combination.
