FURNITURE CARE:
A lot of work and thought has gone into bringing out the beauty of each individual item. I use high quality VOC free paint that has been sealed with a flat clear coat for protection.
A freshly painted piece of furniture can take up to 28 days to fully harden and cure. I advise taking additional care during this time and recommend using placemats and or coasters on the surfaces.

MY PIECES ARE VINTAGE OR ANTIQUE AND THEY HAVE HAD A GOOD LIFE AND MAY HAVE AGE RELATED IMPERFECTIONS WHICH ONLY ADD TO THE CHARACTER OF THE PIECE. THESE WILL NOT DETRACT FROM THE STYLE OR USABILITY OF THE PIECE RATHER THEY ADD TO ITS UNIQUENESS.
THE PIECES I HAVE CHOSEN TO WORK WITH HAVE THEIR OWN CHARACTER AND BEAUTIFUL BONES AND DETAILS AND I HAVE CHOSEN TO BRING THEM INTO THE NOW HAND PAINTED WITH LOVE AND THEREFORE NOT A FACTORY FINISH.

Upcite is a terrific website with a lovely selection of good quality vintage furniture brought up to date by beautiful painting. Having purchased a charming multi coloured clothes horse, I was delighted to find an upcycled music cabinet for my son – a rather dull piece in its original wood but stunningly brought to life by a seller on Upcite. Firstly, the customer service from the seller was above and beyond. In fact she felt like a friend. The delivery was excellent, all updates were given. The drawers arrived very well packaged. On inspection I was very happy. Lovely touch with the spare paint, for any future scratches and the chocolates. An excellent seller.
