Painted Orchard are excited to present to you this once unloved nest of vintage tables which have been the subject of complete restyling to create a unique and enviable one of a kind addition to your home.

The elegant curves of the cabriole legs exude finesse and have been meticulously refinished to once again highlight their true beauty.  To continue the restyling we have hand painted the upper frames in Fusion Mineral Paints Eucalyptus a stunning colour with a green grey hue was thoughtfully chosen to  harmonise seamlessly with the star of the show the beautiful hand screen printed paper adorning the surfaces.    The mesmerising garden design has been printed onto handmade Nepalese Lokta paper in a rich chestnut colour, which adds a unique touch to the tables. The beautiful oriental garden design together the hues of the natural fibres within the paper form a special coherence with the paint colour and the shape and grain of the wood legs.  Protective varnish has been applied to the frames as well as numerous coats to the surfaces.

The paper itself is made not from trees but from the inner bark of the Lokta plant which grows high in the Himalayan region of Nepal. The harvesting process does not kill the plants but prevents decay and the plants completely regrow making the whole process sustainable.   Combining the paper with the eco friendly paints and varnishes as well as saving the old tables from the landfill have made this the most sustainable project we have completed.

These tables have been finished to a high standard and they maintain their vintage charm,  but there may be signs of brush marks and also due to its age there may be signs of minor imperfections which have to be accepted as consistent with the age of the piece and that only adds to the character.

 DELIVERY

Delivery is arranged through trusted furniture couriers and is estimated to take place within 1-2 weeks of your order being placed (excluding custom orders, for custom orders, once the piece is finished delivery is then arranged), but can often be much quicker. The drivers contact you directly to confirm date and time of delivery. This service usually requires the customer's assistance to unload into your home, however, for an additional cost we can arrange for a two person delivery.

Please note delivery is to the UK Mainland only, do not purchase if outside of the UK Mainland.  Delivery is included within the UK Mainland but there may be a small additional surcharge for areas of Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and Devon and therefore please message prior to purchase with your full postcode for a quote.


RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Returns and exchanges are accepted. Please contact Lee O'Gorman Home within 14 days of delivery.

Any returns need to be undamaged, in the same packaging and returned within 14 days of receipt (shipping costs are to be paid by the customer).

Please note, cancellations/ returns /exchanges on custom/commission orders are not accepted unless they arrive damaged or defective. However, I'm sure any issues can be promptly resolved. I ask that you contact me as soon as possible to discuss.
