A handsome Victorian fireside armchair with a well-shaped mahogany frame and attractive turned front supports. The proportions are generous and comfortable, typical of the period, making it an ideal chair for occasional or everyday use.

The chair has been reupholstered in a champagne-coloured fabric with a subtle woven pattern, which sits well against the warm tone of the mahogany. Upholstery is clean and presents well.

Solid and sturdy throughout, with good weight and presence. A pleasing example of a Victorian armchair, suitable for a traditional interior or as a statement piece in a more contemporary setting.
