This wonderful sideboard has been painted in Fusion Mineral Paint 'Bayberry' which is a deep olive green. The beautiful carvings and details around the two doors have been coated with gilding wax to make them stand out against the green. The whole piece has then been sealed for protection.

The sideboard has two cupboards and two drawers. Both of the cupboards having working locks which lock with the same key. The right hand cupboard has a wooden drawer that pulls out, this has some marks in the bottom but otherwise is in good condition. The drawer could be removed if not wanted but the bottom section of the cupboard would be narrower. The cupboard on the left has a pull out compartment tray, again this could be removed. This cupboard has one shelf. The two drawers are in good condition providing lots of storage. The original handles on the drawers have been cleaned and coated in gilding wax to match the carvings.

The height listed includes the upstand at the back of the sideboard. The height of the sideboard not including the upstand is 93.5cm.

This is a vintage piece in good condition but it will show signs of its previous life, all of which add charm to the piece. Please see photos and do ask if you would like any others.

The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer.
