A handsome Antique Edwardian Green Leather Armchair, dating from circa 1930, retaining its original hide upholstery in a distinctive olive tone. Generously proportioned and exceptionally comfortable, this armchair epitomises early 20th-century English club lounge design. The deep seat and rolled arms are accented with close brass studwork, while the solid mahogany legs, terminating in original brass castors, provide elegant support and mobility.
The supple, naturally aged leather shows a desirable patina, with light wear consistent with its age and use, enhancing the armchair’s authentic vintage character. The backrest offers enveloping comfort, making it perfect for fireside reading, study rooms, or gentleman’s clubs.
