The main focus of this piece is undoubtedly the front. The drawer fronts themselves take centre stage with an amazing scene taken from Heironymous Bosh "hell" triptych decoupaged on them. They're then beautifully framed in Loft White.
This chest consists of four drawers with beautiful brass handles that tie in wonderfully with the legs gold top caps and adjustable feet.
The top drawers have removable dividers to organise your belongings with the bottom two drawers offering yet more storage.
Thoroughly cleaned, stripped, stain blocked and primed before being painted in Little Greene Loft White.
The piece has also had ALL runners replaced with brand new solid oak runners meaning the drawers open and close like new.
FURNITURE CARE -
A careful dusting with a lint free cloth which can be slightly damp. As with all wooden and painted furniture a coaster should be used and harsh chemicals avoided.
Hot drinks and wet items can leave marks.
Pieces are waxed or varnished for protection and with the right love and care can last for years!
Please note that our pieces are lovingly upcycled from vintage furniture. Whilst we restore and repair each item by hand it is possible you may find minor blemishes and signs of age. These only add to the character of the finished piece. All items are deep cleaned, sanded bare, primed, restored, redesigned and top coated to ensure that with the proper care they last the test of time.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".
