Vintage Art Deco Harris Lebus dressing table with a single fixed mirror has a lovely curved front top draw and an inset panel with a Deco design. This single mirror has a lovely aged patina around the edges which adds to the look of the piece. The dressing table has been updated using Annie Sloan chalk paint in the colour Louis Blue, I have protected the chalk paint with a polyurethane top coat. To highlight the curved front draw I have added a beautiful gold transfer which looks amazing against the pale blue paint. The hardware has been refreshed using vintage gold gilding wax. Finally I have lined the draws using the bright and fun tissue paper featuring a similar bird design to the hold transfer on the top draw.

Very happy with item

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.

Item is nice but experience wasn't great

I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
