The latest piece from my workshop, this compact mid century chest of 3 drawers is functional as well as pretty. Ideal for small spaces, it is painted by hand in a delicious earthy green, the drawers are decoupaged in a striking paper,  ‘Swans and Irises’ by William Crane, a friend and collaborator of William Morris.  Both members of the Arts & Crafts movement (1860-1910), bold and striking designs are a feature of their work.  This particular design is an iconic image, first produced in 1875.  The decorative handles are original to the piece and I have retained the oak veneer top, which is finished with a nourishing oil.  It is in excellent vintage condition and will provide a striking and fun statement piece in both contemporary and traditional interior schemes.  The mirror is in excellent condition.   I have tried to take pics in natural light and with light on.   MIRROR DETACHES FOR TRANSPORTATION - SIMPLE TO REATTACH. Can remove mirror completely and just use as drawers
