Professionally refinished in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Off Black’.
This sideboard comprises of 2 doors with a large shelf in the centre, complete with 4 large baskets - perfect for storage.
The top has been painted to match the rest of the piece, however we can supply this with a sanded/stained surface instead if preferred. If you would prefer this in another colour, please contact us with your requirements. .
Dimensions : 189cm wide x 47cm deep x 73cm tall
Process:
: All our items have undergone a thorough clean down and sanding process prior to painting.
: All furniture items are sprayed with two coats of primer tinted to the final colour choice
: Around 3 coats of the final colour are applied, with a high grade sand between each process giving a smooth and flawless finish.
: All our items undergo a spray finish, therefore we guarantee no brush strokes or build up of paint in the corners which are traditionally found with a hand painted finish.
Condition:
: Our our restored pieces of furniture have had a previous life, therefore some signs of their previous life may be visible which adds to the character of each item. We do however, wood fill any major 'knocks' and 'dings' prior to the painting process.
: A small pot of touch up paint, as a perfect colour match is provided with all items in the event your item incurs a knock.
Delivery:
Delivery is via a two man delivery team which will be completed within 10 working days of ordering. Our courier team will provide a delivery date which will be confirmed with you first. We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
